Guinness World Record holder for the largest cut Paraiba Tourmaline
The Ethereal Carolina Divine weighs in at 191.87 impeccable carats. A necklace designed by Kaufmann de Suisse to house the oval-shaped stone with a flawless neon blue hue and optical transparency.
Listed as one of the world's most extraordinary stones, next to the Hope Diamond, the Logan Sapphire and more. The Paraiba Tourmaline is found in few regions on earth, this stone remains very rare. It is said that for every 10,000 diamonds, there is only one Paraiba Tourmaline.
The precious gemstone was given its name by Vincent Boucher, the founder and CEO of Billionaire Business Enterprises, who found this beauty originally in the Batalha mine in Paraiba, Brazil in 1987. In 2013 Vincent contacted Kaufmann de Suisse. Mr. Boucher requested that Ms. Kaufmann create a handcrafted piece of art to enhance the pure beauty of the ocean-blue Paraiba.
Inspired by her time in Palm Beach; six months later the results were a lavish necklace with 1,706 vividly colored gemstones.
The Ethereal Carolina Divine Paraiba was then hung below a 10.73-carat yellow diamond to highlight its interdependence. The Diamond symbolizes the inner light that each and every one of us radiates. Hand-sculpted animals are encrusted with a variety of gemstones.
Furthermore, the Ethereal Carolina Divine Paraiba has no visible imperfections and is exceptionally flawless. Valued at approximately $125 million. It is said the largest cut Paraiba Tourmaline was sold to Atelier Tom Munsteiner (Germany), as verified on May 5, 2022.
